Appearances can be deceptive. It looks almost like a normal bike, but it's a little bit more than that.

It's totally functional, simply elegant, and aesthetically pleasing. In a modern gallery, it could be wall art; in the home of an urban cyclist, it's just a bike that can be tucked out of the way.

Meet the ThinBike, available via special order through German bike manufacturer Schindelhauer. Designed by TreeHugger founder Graham Hill in collaboration with Schindelhauer, it folds about as flat as a full size bicycle can.

See how it's done.
