Sidney Stevens is a writer and editor for magazines, websites, and books, with a focus on health and environmental issues.
Stevens is a longtime contributor to Mother Nature Network (now part of Treehugger), where she covered a wide range of topics between 2008 and 2019. She has been a freelance writer and editor for 30 years, with her work appearing in publications such as Consumer Reports Money Adviser, Newsweek, Real Woman, Sacramento Bee, and Sierra magazine. She has also co-authored or edited several books, including "No Guts, No Glory: Gut Solution — The Core of Your Total Wellness Plan" (2012), co-authored with Steven Lamm, a practicing internist and faculty member at New York University who makes frequent appearances on ABC's "The View."
Stevens holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Allegheny College, and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Michigan. She also holds an environmental stewardship certificate from Rutgers University.
