Sarah F. Berkowitz is a freelance writer and communication specialist developing stories on a broad range of topics from sustainability to food trends and healthy living.
Sarah was born in Jerusalem, raised in Detroit, and currently lives in Atlanta. Her dream of becoming a psychologist was traded in for a laptop and chef's hat when she decided to pursue her passion for writing and food. Sarah enjoys cooking, trying to get food to stay still for a good photo, and convincing her kids that they're lucky to have a chef as a mom.
Berkowitz has more than eight years experience as a health magazine editor. She has networked with environmental NPOs, businesses, and government agencies to promote sustainability, holistic health, and a clean environment. She has also written feature articles and news briefs, vetted submissions, edited contributor's columns.
Sarah graduated from the Michigan Jewish Institute, earning her Bachelor of Science (B.S.).
