Well, gee, why didn't we see this coming? Westinghouse and GE, that new green wonder, have designs for nuclear plants with "fewer possible points of failure" to give us cheap dependable power. And guess what? they will be really good at producing "the hydrogen needed for President Bush's "hydrogen economy."
And then there are "capture ready" coal plants- design the plants with valves and ducts so that if and when, some day, some where, people develop technology to capture and sequester carbon dioxide, the plants will be ready to install it.
There is science, there is public relations, and there is really stupid sell-your-soul for the bucks you get paid public relations. Guess which this is.
