Eco-undies tend to swing between two extremes: blah-blah boring and straight-up skanky—not that we have a problem with the latter, it's just that some of us would rather not spend our workdays picking at ill-positioned slivers of fabric while cranking out TPS reports.

Peau Ethique fills the breach with its new Charme collection, a line of demure yet decidedly ungranny-like knickers stitched from 100 percent organic cotton. Available in black or red, the panties, boyshorts, camis, bras, and slips are hemmed with contrasting lace and finished with a sweet satin bow. The French company also operates under fair-trade principles, paying its Turkish, 90 percent female workforce 20 percent more than the local minimum wage.

Peau-Ethique's Charme can be purchased stateside at online retailers like Faeries' Dance.
