We've written about mega-retailer Victoria's Secret before on TreeHugger. Sites like Victoria's Dirty Little Secret ousted the company for producing its catalog with paper made by clearcutting Canada's boreal forests. The company attempted to reverse its bad press by dumping Canadian catalog source West Fraser Timber and printing on paper made from FSC certified fiber. Today Victoria's Secret is stepping up to the green plate once again with the launch of its newest organic line of beauty products.
Victoria's Secret has introduced a new line of organic and 100 percent vegan beauty products. This is a big step for a company whose body lotions, in my humble opinion, are often so strong that you can smell them from across the room. The product line uses natural ingredients like organic citrus, mint, shea butter, soy milk, and oat extract.

Victoria Secret's Greener Beauty Products
The products include all sorts of lotions like body lotion, hand cream, and foot cream as well as body washes, lip butters, and body scrubs in four different collections: Energizing, Nourishing, Soothing, and a line of Essentials. The packaging is eco-friendly, made Post Consumer Recycled (PCR) materials. Now, if we could just get them to do this to rest of their beauty line, we'd all be better off.
