Log onto your PC at 7pm ET tonight and join a distinguished panel of experts who will be discussing the importance of the world's oceans, as well as how climate change is shaking up our polar and oceanic ecosystems.
A World Environmental Day and World Ocean Day special event, the free online discussion (and "music celebration," though we're not quite sure what that means) will feature actor and environmentalist Edward James Begley, Jr., Philippe Cousteau, grandson of Captain Jacques-Yves Cousteau, alongside today's leading environmentalists. More deets below the fold.Other panelists taking part in the discussion include:

Dr. Vladimir Golitsyn—past director, Division for Ocean Affairs and the Law of the Sea (DOALOS); United Nations Office of Legal Affairs, will open the panel discussion with a brief "State of the Oceans" statement.
