Nathan Pipenberg is a writer and editor focused on environmental issues and adventure travel. His work has been featured in publications such as Backpacker and REI. He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service for five years, and has traveled across the country as a wildland firefighter, trail builder, wilderness advocate, and journalist.
Nathan received a Bachelor of Arts in Print Journalism from Penn State University.
Conservation begins with education, and I believe that being informed on environmental issues can motivate us to protect the wild places we love.
