The Israeli academic claims that, using his designs, an array covering 4.6 sq. mi. in Israel's Negev desert could generate as much as 1,000 MW, or 10% of the country’s energy needs, and he claims the price should be competitive with coal-fired power plants. Now we’ve come across this video on YouTube allowing us to see first hand what the man is up to.
