Meaghan O’Neill wrote for TreeHugger from 2004 to 2008 and was managing editor from 2008 until 2013. She was Contributing editor, Design New England Magazine , 2007-2018.




Meaghan O’Neill was Treehugger’s very first writer, and for five years was editor of TreeHugger and sister websites. She is a freelance writer and founding editor of the Puddingstone Post, and has been published in  Architectural Digest, The Boston Globe Magazine, The Guardian, Teen Vogue, Slate, and more.

Her series The Slate Green Challenge was a National Magazine Award finalist in 2007.
