Matt Hickman is a writer and editor specializing in sustainability, design, climate resiliency, and green business.
Hickman was a writer and contributing editor for Mother Nature Network (now part of Treehugger) from 2008 to 2019. He has written for URBAN-X, Curbed, Apartment Therapy, The Lazy Environmentalist, City Magazine, and more. He was also a key contributor to "Vitamin: Green," a sustainable design and architecture book published by Phaidon in 2012. Hickman is currently an associate editor at The Architect’s Newspaper.
Hickman holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative writing from The New School and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in writing, literature, and publishing from Emerson College.
