Maria Marabito is a green living writer for Treehugger. She is passionate about travel, sustainability, and food issues.
Deeply committed to environmental sustainability and green living, Maria enjoys growing her own food in her vegetable garden. She meticulously researches sustainable farming practices to grow produce that is free of pesticides and avoids plastic pollution. She is also passionate about wellness through natural products.
Maria's work has been featured in The Borgen Project, Outpatient Surgery Magazine, County Lines Magazine, and the Delaware Valley Journal. In addition to freelance writing, Maria works as an Editorial Assistant at Healio, a medical news company. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Environmental Sustainability.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from West Chester University. She minored in Literature and Diverse Cultures. Maria spent a year at the University of Edinburgh as a study abroad student.
