Marc Carter covers electric vehicles and sustainable modes of transportation for Treehugger.
Carter is based in Los Angeles and covers all the news around the automotive industry, specifically electric vehicles. He launched The Torque Report in 2007, an automotive-focused news site. Carter has also contributed to other publications, like Inhabitat and the Discovery Channel.
While L.A. is currently home, Carter has also lived in San Francisco and New York where he was able to further study industrial design and how transportation impacts an urban environment. This also includes researching future modes of transportation that will lead to more sustainable transportation.
Carter earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
