A former magazine editor and writer, Kelly Ladd is now a professional craft designer, craft blogger and artist out of her home studio in Orlando, Florida. 

Ladd is a self-taught artist who grew up in Orlando and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Liberal Studies degree focusing on astronomy and creative writing. Before becoming a full-time artist, she worked as a parade performer at Disney World and an editor and prop stylist for Parenting magazine.



Ladd served as an editor at various magazines, including Garden Design and Parenting, before  becoming a full-time professional artist. Her work has been featured at several group gallery shows, as well as the Mennello Art Museum of American Art.



Kelly attended the University of Central Florida and earned a Bachelor of Science.
