She has worked as a branding writer, copywriter, and television writer, having written for networks including Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and USA Network.
Butler holds a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from Lafayette College, as well as a master's degree in English language and literature from the University of Vermont.
