Jenn Savedge is an environmental author and lecturer. She’s a former national park ranger who has written three books on eco-friendly living.
Savedge began her career as a ranger with the U.S. National Park Service (NPS). During her more than nine years with the NPS, she traveled the country, educating visitors about the historical, cultural, and natural significance of U.S. parklands. In 2006, Savedge founded TheGreenParent website to promote eco-friendly living. Savedge lectures at conferences and for businesses and school groups about how to keep a green home, workspace, and school. Savage contributed to MNN (now part of Treehugger) for more than 10 years.
She wrote three books to encourage parents, children, and teens to protect the environment.
Savedge received a Master of Science in environmental education from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in biology from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York.
