Jeff Kart is a writer, editor, journalist, and blogger who covered a variety of environmental issues for Treehugger. He is currently the executive editor for the International Joint Commission and writes for Forbes and other publications.
Kart is an environmental writer based in Michigan. Along with his writing for Treehugger, he spent 14 years at The Bay City Times with a focus on environmental reporting. He now serves as the executive editor for the International Joint Commission, the U.S.-Canada treaty-based organization that regulates, studies and oversees boundary water issues affecting the two countries. He also covers green startups and NGOs in the environmental space for Forbes. His writing has appeared in Earthzine, Midwest Energy News, and CleanTechnica.
Kart has a bachelors in journalism from Michigan State University and a masters in environmental studies from the University of Illinois.
