Introduction

Jasmin Malik Chua is a journalist who writes about sustainable fashion, health, and science. She was the founding managing editor of Ecouterre, an ethical fashion website. 

Experience

Malik Chua wrote about science, health, green fashion, and beauty for Treehugger from 2007 to 2008. She currently contributes sustainable fashion news and features to Sourcing Journal, a trade publication for the apparel and textile industries. She has also written for Vox, Business of Fashion, Vogue Business, The Nation, The Daily Beast, Teen Vogue, Refinery29, Fashionista, Racked, Space.com, and LiveScience. 

From 2009-2017, Malik Chua served as the founding managing editor of Ecouterre, an ethical fashion website. She is listed as a sustainability resource by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. 

Education

Malik Chua holds a master’s degree in biomedical journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s degree in animal biology from the National University of Singapore.
