Calling all designers and innovators! If you've got a shining example of energy-efficient lighting that you want to share with the world, here's your chance. Inhabitat and Philips have teamed up to launch the Bright Ideas Lighting Design Competition challenging designers around the world to submit eco-friendly lamp designs for a shot at winning a cool $1,000 as well as global exposure to millions of design aficionados and industry professionals. A panel of industry-expert judges from design publications like Dwell, Metropolis as well as Treehugger (founder Graham Hill is a judge) will help select the winners of the competition.
