Dr. Helen Suh, a professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Tufts University, is an internationally recognized expert in environmental epidemiology. Her research focuses on air pollution health effects and environmental exposure assessment. She wrote an environmental health column for Treehugger in 2006.
Dr. Suh is also a Senior Fellow in the Department of Public Health, NORC at the University of Chicago. She has served in an advisory capacity for local, national, and international organizations, including the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and multiple National Academy of Science and Institute of Medicine committees. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed papers in leading environmental health journals.
