Haley Mast earned her graduate certification in sustainability and is currently working towards her Bachelor of Science degree at Harvard Extension University. Haley reported and wrote the environmental news column for the Columbia Gorge Region published online at CCC News. She performed conservation and restoration work for Trout Unlimited in the Klickitat region, working towards restoring river beds and fish habitat.
Haley started her journey into journalism by reporting and writing the environmental news column for the Columbia River Gorge region published online at Columbia Community Connection news. She has performed conservation work that strives to restore riverbeds and wetlands in the Klickitat County region with Trout Unlimited. Haley has been with Treehugger since 2020, working as a fact-checker.
Haley currently holds a Graduates Certificate in Sustainability and is working toward a Bachelor of Science in environmental science from Harvard University Extension School.
