Mass customization could mean less waste, as products are made to order rather than in the big lots that come with mass production. The TreeHugger manual permits no ponchos or granola, but muesli is so much classier a name that this post might slip by the editors. It is a marvelous example of mass customization, where one goes online and selects from 75 organic ingredients; they mix them to your particular taste and ship it out to you. Available in Germany only, but they promise that it is coming to America soon.
