Gia is a writer, performer, and producer who has written extensively about veganism, food waste, and sustainable living.
Her passion for intersectional environmentalism and eliminating single-use plastic became recurring topics on Scirens Show. In addition to her work in sustainability, Gia is a news team member at online women's magazine The List and wrote over a dozen articles on veganism, yoga, and meditation for Openfit. Gia is also well versed in how public policy can nudge communities toward more sustainable behavior. She joined Treehugger in 2021.
Gia holds a degree in writing from the University of Colorado and a diploma in Italian Language and Culture from the University of Pisa.
