Just what we needed Dept: The Pet Treat Maker

Every time I go into the kitchen little Jasper follows, knowing that I am hopeless there and that something will drop on to the floor. He doesn't care what shape it is. Perhaps other dogs are smarter or more discerning in their tastes, and need a product like the Holstein Pet Treat Maker, which Cambria Bold of the Kitchn says " looks like a panini press or sandwich maker, but it presses out dog biscuits instead." I suppose it cannot be called a unitasker, the Unclutterer's term for stuff that takes up space and only does one thing, because it makes them in both bone and paw shapes, unlike the far less sophisticated Sunbeam gourmet dog treat maker, which only makes bone shaped treats.

Over at EcoOptimism, David Bergman is running The Wrongest Product Awards competition:

The Wrongest Product Awards will go to those products (and their designers) that embody the least amount of redeeming value while incurring the use of unnecessary, often gratuitous, materials or energy.

We just won.

Like your dog is going to reject your home-made dog cookie if it doesn't look like a bone.
