Food writer Mark Bittman was once asked what he considered essential in a kitchen. "A stove, a sink, a refrigerator, some pots and pans, a knife and some serving spoons," he answered. "All else is optional." Clearly he had not yet heard about the ultimate multi-tasking kitchen appliance, the drone.
Seriously, we complain all the time about kitchen stuff that only does one thing, (Unitaskers, as the Unclutterer calls them) but your Autel Robotics drone slices! it dices! you can mix four bowls of stuff at once! And best of all, it deep fries the turkey! This drone does it all and then flies away. A bit messy, but it does the job.
Apparently more cooking fires and injuries happen on Thanksgiving Day than any other day of the year. Most involve knifes (accidents, not stabbing of relatives) but coming up behind are injuries from the deep frying of turkeys. According to the Atlantic, they cause a thousand fires per year, more than $15 million in property damage, and quite a few burns. Bring on the deep-frying drone.
