If you can't be at Climate Week NYC this week—and truth be told most of the interesting events aren't really open to the public on a walk-in basis, so don't feel like you're missing out—perhaps the next best thing is to follow the gist of things via these Hub Culture videos.
To capture the spirit of what's being discussed at the various events around town here's a selection of videos that stood out to me:
Mark Kenber, CEO of the Climate Group talks about the cleantech revolution.
James Cameron (not that one...) of Climate Change Capital on cleantech investment —and his company's merger with a giant agribusiness.
Deborah Fikes from the World Evangelical Alliance talks about the intersection of environmental action and Christianity.
Nicholas Eisenberger from Pure Energy Parters talking about a lot of cool solar partnerships they're engaged in (Sungevity and others...). Technically this was filmed at the Clinton Global Initiative, but ignore that. Between the UN General Assembly Meeting, CGI and Climate Week NYC, it's a whirlwind in Midtown Manhattan this week.
Cecil Wilson, President-elect of the World Medical Association on the connections between climate change and human health, including how physicians in the US are already having to deal with climate change-induced problems, such as the spread of West Nile disease and other ailments.
