TreeHugger Almost: Bear's Beads Dog Collars

bearsbeads.jpg We love these dog collars and put them in the "almost" category because although they aren't totally eco-friendly we think they're a heck of a lot better for the earth than the typical nylon ones. Bear's Beads is a company named after a Chesapeake Bay Retriever from Providence, RI (our neck o' the woods) who likes to show off his distinctive attitude. Each collar is unique and one-of-a-kind and handcrafted by using individually selected beads knotted together by macramé leather. Choose between a more rustic style with bone, wooden and trade beads or try a more chic look with semiprecious and glass stones. All collars come in different sizes, have a D-ring for ID's and a sturdy buckle. What a great gift! Hmm...what one would Duke look best in... ::Bear's Beads
