Transformer, Wooden Coffee Table Unfolds into Tea Room with Seating for Four

When we reviewed Claudio Sibille's transformer cupboard a few days ago, we knew the Uruguayan designer was going to become a regular at TreeHugger.

The Guillerolina and Alina designs showed here are simple wooden and glass pieces which appear as coffee tables but can turn into a tea room in no time. The catch: two benches hidden on the sides of the inner structure which conforms the table's surface.

In its thick wooden version, the table is square and the benches, from cedar. The first, thinner version has a circular table and guatambu seating. Watch the two unfold below.
