Ikea Ingo Table

It's true we have sometimes made fun of Ikea. (And of ourselves for shopping there). But really, who can resist all those cute designs at rock-bottom prices? Let's face it, Ikea's got a good thing going, and the fact that they ship with more ingenuity (these guys waste no space in their containers or trucks, plus they get the person who bought it to drive it home with them) than anyone we can think of. So when we find products that are also especially eco-conscious, we must bow down... The Ingo dining table, made from raw wood from renewable forests (not from intact natural forests), is left unfinished for you to do with as you wish. That means you can leave it plain, or use a simple wax or oil to finish it, or even eco-paint. Plus, the entire product can be recycled for material or energy recovery. Available in 29.5-inches-square, or 47.25-by-29.5-inches. $49-69. Available in stores only. ::Ikea [by MO]
