Cardboard Chair Company

To most people cardboard is that lowly stuff used to make packing boxes. But in the hands of the family-owned parent company, Levy Design and Manufacturing, it becomes high-end furniture. Their multilayered creations have a minumum of 30% recycled fibre content and are free of formaldehyde, using instead low VOC, water based adhesives. Made with diecutting technology and industrial laminating techniques, the pieces receive a fine sanding, to give a softer finish. At $420 USD, this Low Stool, does equal service as a side table and qualifies for their own tag of "functional art." ::Cardboard Chair Company and see more cool cardboard chair concepts at ::"Re-Furnished" Recycled Cardboard Chairs from University of Idaho Student Designers
