David DeFranza was Assistant Editor of TreeHugger from 2009-2012. In addition to book reviews and producing slideshows, he wrote about travel, the outdoors, and frugal living. 




Before becoming Assistant Editor at TreeHugger, David DeFranza covered travel, the outdoors, and frugal living for a variety of websites. In addition to performing general editorial duties, David wrote about nature, produced slideshows, and served as Treehugger's books editor. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in computational marketing at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
