Wind power has arrived. In case you've been living in a cave powered by unsustainable energy for the last couple years, the wind power industry has been steadily growing and is perhaps most effective and viable forms of alternative energy on the market.
But you know all that. What you likely don't know is exactly what the future of the ever-expanding, dynamic wind power industry holds. And if you want to find out, you just have to head on over to Delaware this week . . .
Offshore Wind Farm Workshop
The American Wind Energy Association, the University of Delaware and the Sierra Club are hosting a wind power workshop on September 9th and 10th that will focus on offshore wind farm possibilities.
From the website:
"Offshore wind energy is moving forward in the U.S. with new proposed projects, new market entrants, and new permitting rules under development. AWEA's Offshore Wind Power Workshop will provide a national picture of the offshore wind energy market, rules of the road in various regions, technology considerations, and lessons from Europe."
If you're serious about wind power (investment opportunities, anyone?) then you can register for the event on AWEA's website.
