The good people at SIGG have teamed up with Laurie David's Stop Global Warming virtual march (remember, you can march with TreeHugger) to count down 100 Eco Moments in honor of the Swiss bottle-maker's 100th birthday. From now until Earth Day (April 22), they'll celebrate one "SIGGnificant" moment -- both good and bad -- each day.
So far, the list includes events like Jacques Cousteau's birth, the beginning of the automobile assembly line and the creation of the national park service; they've got a ways to go to get to number one, with a lot of green ground to cover.
