Much like Mashable's Social Good Conference, "The Good Web" -- presented by Core Industries -- an interactive agency with a focus on sustainability -- is set to bring innovators in advertising, design, brands, and non-profits together for a full day dedicated to cause marketing. Hosted by Olivia Zaleski, environmental journalist and host of CNN Money's The Business of Green, the event will feature presentations by -- our very own -- Graham Hill, and execs from the Lance Armstrong Foundation, Demand Media, Justmeans, http://www.bcycle.com/">B-cycle, BBMG, GamesThatGive, If We Ran The World, TakePart, MTV, and more - click through for details.
Update: This event has been cancelled, as of 9/15/09.

So What is 'The Good Web' ?
Developed by Core Industries - the goal is to explore the next generation of cause marketing with the power of viral marketing. The conference will address the "what's next?" in online strategy for building awareness and encouraging activism around causes. Essentially, the forum is meant to act "as a movement -- bringing brands, consumer, and causes together to make the world a better place," according to Daniel Schutzsmith, vice president at Core Industries.
