Another Earth Day has come and passed, but the drive of many environmentalists has not changed over night. For those visionaries working to redefine what it means to be "green," Earth Day is truly every day, and their challenges and success offer inspiration for everyone trying to make the planet a cleaner, healthier place.Grist writes:

Four decades after the first Earth Day, the circle of people working toward a cleaner, greener world has expanded way beyond treehugging hippies, red-paint-throwing protesters, posturing politicos, and card-carrying members of enviro groups.
