darchitect2 is looking for advice:
With the lawn I first try to coordinate mowing frequency and cut height w/ the weather forecast. Generally I'm able to cut every two weeks from July 1st onward; v.s. weekly before that. With less cutting follows less watering. But more significant in terms of water savings we have a good amount of shade for the grass...This protects the lawn from getting over heated and having need of any irrigation.
What other steps do you take to save on use of any water for lawn irrigation?
