I saw a program on television about one of the latest, most environmentally destructive methods of fishing. It basically involves "raking" the ocean floor by large commercial fishing vessels. According to the television show, 1/3 an area the size of the entire United States is "raked" this way every year leaving a massive amount of destruction in it's wake. Now, I'm not completely positive that salmon is caught this way, however assuming that it is - what would actually be the better choice for the environment if you HAD to make one. Farm raised Salmon or Wild?
