Event: For the Love of Water, Tonight, NYC

Flow: For the Love of Water will be screening tonight at the Walter Reade Theater (6:30 p.m.). Irena Salina (director) and Maude Barlow (author and co-founder of the Blue Planet Project), William Marks (author and water advocate) and Kathryn Garcia (Assistant Commissioner, NYC Department of Environmental Protection) will be present at the screening to discuss the issues raised in the film and answer questions from the audience. Barlow and Marks will also be signing copies of their new books. A reception will follow, featuring Cool Stories for When the Planet Gets Hot, a collection of 11 films with different takes on the water issue, produced by Artport.

The show is sold out, but tickets may become available to the standby line at the Walter Reade Theater's box office.
