Enjoy fair trade goods? Not sure what that means? Well then add this to your list of things to check out this weekend - the Fair Trade Conference and Expo, happening this weekend March 27-29 in Portland, OR. Not sure you know what Fair Trade is? No problem, keep reading to find out more.The conference itself will feature speakers and sessions promoting the Fair Trade Movement as part of the larger Fair Trade Federation annual conference. The expo is free to the public on March 28 from 3:30-6pm. The expo features vendors and a wide variety of suppliers, where you can purchase gifts for yourself, or even get products for your own store. You can get the full scoop on what qualifies as fair trade directly from the source, as the Fair Trade Network will host an "Intro to Fair Trade" session during the expo at 4pm.
