October 10 is just around the corner. Have you made your plans for the international "Global Work Party?" It's a day organized by 350.org and other partner organizations to show politicians that while they argue and dither, people are getting to work making our clean energy future a reality. Actress Ellen Page of "Juno" and "Inception" knows what she'll be doing October 10, partying with 350.org.

As of the time of this writing, an incredible 5,162 events have been registered in 175 countries. Events range from a bike fix-up day in New Zealand to putting solar panels on the President's office in the Maldives. To see what's going on in your neck of the woods, go here.

Last October, 350.org organized what has been called the largest day of climate action in history. The event generated thousands of amazing images, many of which can be found here. This year appears to be even bigger and better. I'll be at a London event. Hope to see you there!
