Compostmodern Design Conference is Coming Up

This year’s Compostmodern design conference is coming up: January 21st in San Francisco. We definitely suggest getting over there if you’re in the vicinity. Compostmodern is a one-day conference pivoting around issues of design and its potential to change the world for the better. There’s an impressive lineup of speakers and the conference will feature an interior space, a café, and sustainable wares coordinated by our friends at Branch. If you’re lucky, you could even run into a Treehugger or two in the flesh. The conference brings together a diverse selection of speakers representing business and media, including Adbusters founder, Kalle Lasn, and the editors of Dwell and ReadyMade. Representing industry are Johnson & Johnson, American Apparel, and Cenveo, to name a few. Also just added is Jay Bolus, science brain from McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry.
Compostmodern will be held at the Academy of Art University Morgan Auditorium (map). Before January 7th, registration is $40 for AIGA and ISDA members, $50 for students, and $60 for non-members. After the 14th, all prices go up $10. Be there or be rectilinear. :: Compostmodern
