Really. If you look at the photograph in the New York Times, you see wooden utility poles, transformers, street lamps and a mess of overhead wires more like Nairobi than New Jersey. Oh, and they have added solar panels. Residents say I hate them,It's just an eyesore." Residents call them "hideous" and "worry about their property values."
I would have thought that they would think cleaner air, less dependence on fossil fuels, and why do we have cheap and ugly overhead wires anyways?
