Adrian Grenier Designs T-Shirt for Oceana, Whitney Port Loves Vintage Fashion, and More

You may recognize green and gorgeous actor Adrian Grenier from Planet Green's Alter Eco or from HBO's Entourage, either way this sizzling young star hardly keeps quiet about his passion for environmental conservation, and most recently, he is speaking up about the world's oceans; the actor has team up with Nautica to design a limited-edition t-shirt to benefit Oceana.

Adrian Grenier, an Oceana ambassador for GQ's The Gentlemen's Fund Initiative, has designed an organic cotton t-shirt to benefit the ocean conservation non-profit, according to Eco Chick. The shirt retails for $25--100% of proceeds will be donated to Oceana--and can be conveniently purchased online. Or, you could win one over at Eco Chick.

Whitney Port Chats Green Fashion and Vintage Style with EcoStiletto

Reality television star Whitney Port, known most for her role on The Hills and The City, sat down with EcoStiletto's Rachel Lincoln Sarnoff for an interview at eBay Look Book's makeover road show in Los Angeles, California. When it comes to fashion, Port looks to vintage: "You know when you walk out the door that it's not going to be seen on anybody else."

Sarnoff's interview also revealed that her new fashion label, Whitney Eve, has yet to incorporate any sustainable fabrics; a choice she credits with here being "new." Port told Sarnoff: "Right now I'm just trying to get the hang of the whole process. But eventually I really want to find out how that whole technique works." Twilight's Peter Facinelli Supports Energy Awareness Month

While in-store, he checked out Energy Star appliances, include refrigerators, freezers, clothes washers and dishwashers. Now through October 31, 2010, 10% of all purchases of Energy Star qualified appliances made with a MasterCard card at The Home Depot will be donated to Habitat for Humanity--up to 1 million dollars.

EMA Announces Nominees for 20th Annual Awards Ceremony

This weekend, the Environmental Media Association (EMA) will host their 20th Annual Awards ceremony honoring the film and television industry for raising environmental awareness.

Ecorazzi reports: a slew of celebrities will be attending, included Eva Mendes, James Cameron, Jane Fonda, Daryl Hannah, and more. Among the EMA nominees, is Avatar for Feature Film; 30 Rock episode "Sun Tea" for Television Episodic Comedy; and Bones episode "The Tough Man in the Tender Chicken" for Television Episodic Drama.
