As we get closer to shutting down the first decade of the millennium, we have many fond celebrity comments that have echoed across the headlines and made us all laugh (at least a few of us anyway). While these quotes were undoubtedly intended to appear intelligent and conscientious of the planet in some shape or form, they just didn't quite make it across the headlines the way they would have liked. Let's look at our top 5 examples of this...Jennifer Aniston:

"I take a three-minute shower. I even—brush my teeth while in the shower."

We know that she was trying to get the idea of water conservation across here, but technically you don't really need any water to brush your teeth until you rinse the brush off at the end. Where is the water savings in this? But that's okay, we still love you Jennifer!

Sheryl Crow:

"I have spent the better part of this tour trying to come up with easy ways for us all to become a part of the solution to global warming. Although my ideas are in the earliest stages of development, they are, in my mind, worth investigating. I propose a limitation be put on how many squares of toilet paper can be used in any one sitting—only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required"

We can appreciate that she has already said that this comment was just a joke, and we are sure that she wishes that this stupid quote would quit getting dragged out of the porcelain throne again and again. But we figured what the heck, just once more for old time sake!

David Hasselhoff:

"Beyond its entertainment value, Baywatch has enriched, and in many cases, helped save lives! I'm looking forward to the opportunity to continue with a project which has such significance for so many."

We had no idea that several bikini clad women on television could enrich the world and save so many lives. Perhaps we are all going about this "green" thing wrong after all.

George Bush:

"We got issue in America. Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OBGYNs aren't able to practice their, their love with women all across this country."

Okay, we know that health care is a big issue today, and that a loving doctor is something we all hope for. But just what type of "love" is he referring to here!

Mischa Barton:

"Pretty people aren't as accepted as other people. It comes with all these stigmas."
