Slate is in the midst of rolling out its 'Top Right' awards, a series that honors those who both have the audacity to think big and the pragmatism and gumption to put their ideas into action. The latest honoree is Janette Sadik-Khan, New York City's Transportation Commissioner. We've written much about JSK's work here on TreeHugger -- she's behind the pedestrian-izing of Times Square and the ambitious city-wide bike lane expansion. In other words, she's helping to turn NYC into a healthier, more livable and more sustainable city.
