An apology to the Center for Consumer Freedom

Retraction
House Ad Lloyd Alter

When I wrote this post on February 13 I claimed that that the Center for Consumer Freedom (CCF) “defends drunk driving.” I linked to a press release from the American Beverage Institute, a separate organization. In fact, the release does not in any way make any defence of drunk driving, but called for police to utilize a more effective means of catching drunk drivers.

I apologize to Richard Berman and the Center for Consumer Freedom and have removed the incorrect information from TreeHugger.
