Government Department Slashes Emissions 20% in One Year

While its violent climate video may have angered many, there's no doubt that the 10:10 Campaign has had a massive impact. I've already reported how many companies, individuals and institutions far exceeded their target of 10% emission reductions in just one year. Now Damian Carrington reports over at The Guardian that one government department cut emissions by 20% through using laptops, real-time energy displays and smarter heating. Given that efficiency usually means saving money also, this one should please the more fiscally conservative among us too.
