Glorious isn't it? Image credit:Endangered Species Coalition
If you have children or know one that loves animals, getting involved with Endangered Species Day activities could be fun thing to do together. (A bit more memorable than helping him replace an incandescent bulb with a CFL.) Might provide a welcome respite from worrying about the non-progress on climate action.
From the StopExtinction.org: "Endangered Species Day is an opportunity for people young and old to learn about the importance of protecting endangered species and everyday actions that people can take to help protect our nation's disappearing wildlife and last remaining open space."
