The Down:2:Earth Green Living Expo is happening April 3-5 in Boston. TreeHugger's very own editor extraordinaire Meaghan O'Neill will be there working on a special project that we want YOU to be part of! Down:2:Earth is a great place to find green products, learn about the goings on in the environmental community, and educate participants on sustainability. This year's gathering will be host for a special project:
Following a brief presentation, Meaghan O'Neill, editor of TreeHugger.com and PlanetGreen.com and co-author of Ready, Set, Green: Eight Weeks to Modern Eco-Living, will be documenting participants with photography and video to find out why and how they are going green. That is, we want to document everything about what motivates you, your fears and hopes, and the little things you are doing to save the planet. Think: NPR's "Story Corps" meets the blogosphere. This presentation is all about personal passion and participation, so be prepared to engage! Particpants are encouraged to bring small objects that represent their commitment to green living or will have the opportunity to make signs on-site. The media collected will then then be produced into an photo gallery/post on TreeHugger.com.
So if you're at the Down:2:Earth in Boston this weekend and want to be on TreeHugger, be sure to find Meaghan and tell her just why it is you are a self-proclaimed greenie.
Check out more information about the event and purchasing your $10 ticket at Down:2:Earth's website.
