Climate Change 'Public Nuisance' Lawsuit Heads to the Supreme Court

... but it looks like the highest court in the land is going to toss it out. Six states -- New York, California, Iowa, Vermont, Rhode Island, and Connecticut -- have charged that carbon pollution can be considered a 'public nuisance' and as such, its grounds over which to sue emissions-spewing coal plants. But, as the LA Times reports, the Supreme Court isn't buying the argument.
